They're Coming Right For Us

Oh my GAAAAAAWD this drawing. Took me three days of on and off work. I lost about five hours of work on it on Monday, and that was 90% of the coloring. So... yeah. Long time. I wanna air on like 14 hours? Whoo, that was a labor of love. Now get out of my face, VILE, I ain't got $#!t to say to you!

Okay, so story. In the RP's me and do, VILE (in the MMZ world, the design I gave him) comes across Cotton, a Cyber Elf bunny who lost her way home. VILE's had a history of using and abusing Cyber Elves, but finds that this one is special somehow. So he decides to escort her home. Hell, he doesn't have anything better to do! Too bad the Pantheons patrolling the desert want the maverick terminated.

Cotton is very cowardice and scaredy, so she asks VILE to toughen her up. It doesn't go so well, but they do form a sort of friendship. Despite his aggressive and unpleasant nature, she looks up to the walking armory, and he offers her protection for her navigational skills.

Cotton: M-Mr. VILE! I think they're aiming for us!
VILE: I slagging know, now shut up! I'm busy keeping our hides out of the scrapheap!

I love, absolutely love, VILE in Maverick Hunter X for PSP, they really gave him a serious revamp in the way he fights. I mean his right arm shoots out of the fingers, can be fired like a rocket, and even fire micro missiles from his elbow joint! His left knee also doubles as a flamethrower and grenade launcher. And of course the cannon that needs no introduction. My design incorporates all of that, with a few touches here and there, like the cycloptic eye as seen in the X3-PSX/Saturn intro, and a scarf for no apparent reason. And naming the cannon after one of his attacks, "FATBOY."
